IELTS Exam Pattern
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is an internationally recognised standardized English proficiency test for non-native English speakers. This test evaluates four major skills: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. The test is available in two formats:
- Academic IELTS – It is for the students who aspire to study abroad
- General Training IELTS – It is for professionals and immigrants who would like to work or permanently reside abroad.

Listening Test
- There will be 40 questions divided into 4 sections

Speaking Test
It consists of 3 parts and involves one on one interaction with the examiner with a total duration of 11 to 14 minutes:

- Cue Card- You will be given a Topic to speak in which preparation time is of 1 minute and speaking time a very from 3 to 4 minutes
- Discussion: The time duration of this round varies from 3 to 4 minutes and examiner will discuss the topic of the topic given in the cue card round.

- Listen to English podcasts, news, and audiobooks regularly .
- Practice prediction of possible answers by having a glance at questions that are asked before listening.
- Make concise notes while listening.
